Our adjustable stand uses three bottle jacks - two near the strake, and one on the outboard end of the wing. We drilled three holes in the base of each bottle jack (a bit tricky, but not bad). The bottle jacks are then mounted onto the frame using wood screws. The result is very solid - the jacks are not going anywhere!
