The hole has been cut for the wheel on the pilot-side strake. The foam has been cut away on the bottom of the strake so that the wheel well sits directly on the fiberglass.

We've decided to allow for as much fuel as possible. To that end, we are creating a bulkhead above the tire. Here, we've fitted a bulkhead template made of poster board.
