When we measured the canard for elevator travel, we did so with the canard right side up. This was incorrect; as a result, we had excessive travel and (even worse) we cut the trailing edge of the canard too short. In order to get the canard width back to 11.875", we need to add 1/4'' back on.

Here, we've taped the surface of a very straight board, and we'll be doing a layup onto that surface.
