We've begun reconstruction. We created a paper template for the replacement piece, then cut a two-ply sheet to the approximate shape needed. With the plenum in place on the plane, we attached the new sheet with clecos.

Back on the workbench, we did some bid layups to attach the new piece, then put the plenum back in place on the plane while the epoxy cured. With the basic form set, we can now do layups for structural strength.
