Yesterday we worked in the shop - the first time for me since our return home. I have many excuses - making face masks, completing reading assignments for a project I had committed to, making decisions on landscaping, trying to get ahead of the weeds - but mostly I've had trouble getting my mind in a good place as the pandemic continues. Yesterday was the day that something clicked for me. As happened when Dorothy clicked her heels three times, and when the cowardly lion received a medal for bravery... my perspective shifted. Perhaps it was the normalcy of harvesting garlic this week...? I have no good explanation, but I'm glad to be here in this shop where we can make things happen.

We decided to build a cover for our electrical connection board, as it will be sitting in the nose, next to the retractable nose gear. The cover is to protect the connections from any potential 'gunk' or water that could be thrown into the compartment. After several hours of brainstorming, we have some idea what we want it to look like and a plan for attaching it to the nose wheel guide, where the connection board will be installed.
