I have been remiss in documenting the recent work.
This is the view from the front hatch of the nose gear and sequence valve. The orange dot at the top is part of the sequence valve. The sequence valve is mounted so that the taco gusset activates the closure of the nose gear doors. You may need to use the large image to see this detail.
Also if you look at the nose wheel, may notice that it is polished. First I thought it would be a good idea to sand down the casting to remove an sharp edges that might be provide stress crack starters. Then it was a bit rough so I used a fine grit to smooth is some more, then I remembered that it was only a few minuts from smooth to polished. Voila, a mirror finish. Sure it will dull, but right now? Why not? Besides, Andy did it and I can't let him score too many unanswered points.
