We've added a flange to the bottom of the glare shield where it meets the instrument panel. This will add stiffness to the panel, and provide a place to mount nuts. We've used release tape (clear packing tape) on the instrument panel.

We discussed the option of making individual tabs, but chose a continuous flange, instead.
