We've been working on an avionics shelf for a while. Jerry has been scratching his head a lot. His design includes a shelf frame made of square aluminum tube. The frame's end braces mount to the canard flange and to the throttle quadrant. He felt that this would add stability to the instrument panel, while leaving space on either side for cabling.
