Now we're working on the elevator trim. Here we've created the 'shim' called for in the manual. We used shmooey to attach the shim to the canard, and to attach a metal plate on top. We covered this two layers of bid, as per the manual, then match-drilled and tapped the embedded metal plate to the mounting bracket (see next picture).
