First, let me say that I have helped with wiring on Brett's and Bob Buls' Velos. It is always a pain just to install the first time. When you want to change something it is frustrating. So, to follow that old adage, design for maintenance, I have decided to create two new wiring channels. I am putting them on both side at the bottom - outside of the keel.

I used hot water pipe insulation foam tubing (that's the black stuff in the picture). I cut a wedge about 1/3 of the circumference and about 9 feet in length. I put universal release tape (duct tape) on it to form something that looks like the exiting channels.

This is a really terrible picture, but the next one will make it all obvious.
