202VB inverted, masked and taped. We are ready to paint the bottom. While painting 44VF, I found that getting the paint on the bottom of the fuselage was a large pain. Paint was either dripping from the gun (and onto me) or did not pickup from the top-mounted, gravity feed cup. So we are painting the bottom of VB.

We ned to learn a different spray gun (an old style Devilbis from my painter brother in TX). We are also using an unusual paint: Sherwin Williams Polane, an industrial urethane that is said to be bullet proof. Painting the bottom of the fuselage will give us a chance to work with this paint in an area where the inexperience will not be so critical.
