To create a support that follows the shape of the wing surface, we clamped a strip of thin aluminum to the bottom of the wing. The trailing edge is held in proper position with a piece of aluminum I-beam. We have 2 x 4s and foam wedged under the center section of the aluminum support, so that it is a tight fit.

We are starting with a layer of bid on the outside, then two layers of carbon fiber. You can see where the layup wraps onto the vertical shear web.

After this is somewhat cured, we'll add a layer of triax.

The wing extensions will take a few days, as we'll need to wait for the layups to cure before we can flip the wing upside down for layups on the top surface.
