Here is the aileron cable going into the gear bulkhead. The white arrow, top right, shows the hole location called for in the builder's manual. Our hole is about 1 1/4" inboard.

When we drilled the new hole, we were hoping that it would be enough change that our cable would work. Otherwise, we had resigned ourselves to the fact that we would be ordering longer cables.

And... Hoorah! This change allowed the cable to reach from one bellcank to the other, while creating the nice arc called for in the manual.
