The word of the day is "templates"! We decided that we should get the firewall installed before we move along with the rudder cables. Also, we're placed an order for updated rudder control parts this morning, and that slows down the rudder control effort.

We made a template of the firewall from 36" craft paper that we own. (A long story, involving macaws). There were several patches, as you can tell from the little pieces of blue tape near the edges. The blue tape in the center is where we cut slits in the paper and taped it down, as it wanted to sag. Great idea, Jerry!

We'll use this template for the fiberfrax and the stainless steel fire protection layers.
