We're starting to shape the form that will serve as a mold for the plenum adapter. The bright blue foam section fits into the pilot-side NACA duct. The stack of thin foam pieces are held together with hot glue; and this section is, in turn, attached to the existing plenum with Bondo. We're using long drill bits to hold the two sections in place; and these also serve as "locater pins". These pins are removed each time we install the plenum onto the engine, as the extended plenum is too long to move in place as a single unit.
