We've begun work on the electrical side of the gear retract system. We hooked up as many components as possible on the workbench. As usual, testing was complicated by small technical glitches. Nothing worked as it should have.
An issue with our 12V power supply (an ancient amplifier for a CB radio) turned out to be at the root of our problems. At the end of the day, when we were successful at illuminating the 'gear pump on' indicator in the circuit, we were pretty excited! |
