This spacer is in a different location on this side, and Jerry said "That's where it felt like it needed to be." �We drilled the bolt hole off-center in the wedge so that we had more adjustment options. We also used a countersink bit to create a divot for the bolt head. You'll notice the use of a tennerman countersink washer.
We repeated the carbon paper exercise. When the spacer was in a good position, we made alignment mark on the spacer and the bulkhead, and then applied a bead of RTV around the outside of the spacer - hoping that we won't get water trapped behind it. |
