I scoured the house for items that might be put together to create a good mold. I discovered a tray from an old cooler that has almost the right dimensions. It's not quite deep enough, but the length and width are almost perfect.

We're going to cover the tray with plastic wrap and duct tape. This will be much easier than trying to carve and sand that block of blue foam!
