The plan is to mount the AFS panel over our fiberglass panel, then install that sandwiched panel in the plane. First, we need to cut spaces for the instruments in our fiberglass panel. AFS provided us with a cardboard template which was laser cut just like their metal panel. We're using this as a starting point. We'll mark the instrument locations on the panel, then determine how much clearance each instrument needs.

AFS cut many of the holes in our fiberglass panel for mounting points. To ensure proper alignment before marking our panel, we dropped screws through the cardboard template and into these holes.
