And then there were two. Yes in our 30 x 30 shop, there are two Velocity XL's. My good friend and college fraternity brother (it's been a few years), Bob Buls, has brought his plane from Memphis with the promise that Brett and I will make it all happen more quickly.
Bob is staying with us until the bird leaves the nest. OK, so we have agreed to let him have some short visits with his family. They seem remarkedly in favor of this arrangement. I guess when you are a retired FedEx pilot, the family gets so used to you being out of town, that they want to keep it that way.
Anyway, we are happy to have Bob here. Bob spent several months at the factory, so as an added bonus, we have his plane as a really good cross check and reference that I can use to make sure that I understand how the factory builds.
Do two XL RG's being built in the same facility constitute a factory? If so, we are now Velocity of Southwest Ohio
Another phase in the adventure begins.
P.S. Bob's nickname in the fraternity was The Commodore. All I can say is it was a Dark and Stormy Night ...
