I don't know that things are moving more quickly, but Bob is here in Ohio and only has one thing to do all day every day: Work on his Velocity.

Here Bob is working on his panel. The electrical layout is one of the areas that Brett can provide mega-input. That's one of the biggies that brought Bob to Ohio.

Soon there will be an engine installation. Bob is one of the first Vesta firewall back installations. This is where I hope to add some real value to the project. I also will get a first hand look at the Vesta solution. I am also considering going that direction. Of course until money hits the table, all options are in play.

I know, I know, the prudent solution is the IO540. Don't experiment with everything at once. In my heart I know that I am just fooling myself. I expect to end up with something about like Brett's IO540, but a guy can dream about taking big chances.

Added note: Bob's panel is a mix of steam and digital. Two Cheltons with the PinPoint GADAHRS, electric attitude indicator, altimeter, airspeed, 430, 327, SL30 and a DVD (he says it's for domestic tranquility; but I think he likes the bells and whistles).
