After the epoxy cured, we removed the clamps and set the canard back into the fuselage to check the fit for the doghouse. We also checked the hinge pin operation.

Here we're removing the hinge prior to final installation. On the left and at two spots on the bottom of the hinge, you can see the cured slurry standoffs.

Even though we lubricated that back of the hinge with Vaseline, the slurry adhesion was surprisingly strong.
