The audio panel will be installed on the underside of the shelf, between the frame's cross supports. In this photo, it's easy to see that the mounting bracket (partially covered with green tape) is too wide, and we'll need to cut both brackets down.

This idea came from Reiff Lorenz, who worked with us on Saturday. With his help, we pulled the canard down from storage, attached the elevators, checked clearances, and did an operational fit to make sure the avionics shelf won't interfere.

This is the first time that we seen Reiff since the pandemic began. As we're all vaccinated, it felt safe to have three people gathered in a 30'x30' workspace.
