Here is the prop hanging on the wall next to the winglet of the copilot wing that is hanging from the ceiling. When it was time to put the prop on the wall, Linda was essential for this effort too. Measuring, figuring the angles, and lifting.
By the way, lifting an MT prop over your head to hang it on the wall is not easy, especially when you trying to locate the mounting board on two 5/16" bolts. Linda was key in helping with that aligment. The prop is very close to the 10' ceiling. I was just about fully extended on a platform.
We then moved the shipping container to the basement. If you should ever have the need to take that big equilateral triangle to the basement, you might want to do some measuring. In our case it was just able to slide down the stairwell (with 1/2" clearance)... and we don't have any ceiling drywall in the basement. If the basement were finished, then I would have to cut a vertex off the container! |
